Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape and execute the academic strategy of 2 Hour Learning, a remote‑first organization that enables students to achieve accelerated learning in just two hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning science into curriculum design, motivational architecture, and application development.
• Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent delivery across school teams.
• Analyze data, conduct interviews, and perform direct observations to assess academic ecosystems, identify barriers to accelerated learning, and recommend targeted interventions.
• Ensure strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to keep focus on learning objectives.
• Serve as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning in high‑stakes contexts, delivering keynote presentations and engaging with Ministries of Education to influence systemic reform.
• Expand and refine the validated academic model by coordinating execution across all schools, raising leadership benchmarks, and advocating publicly for the evidence‑based approach.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in education, learning science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of articulating and owning a transformative academic vision with measurable results.
• Experience leading academic teams directly, not from a peripheral role.
• Demonstrated ability to build systems based on learning science that deliver outcomes at scale.
• Strong credibility to present work publicly and act as an external advocate for an evidence‑based learning model.
