Director of Technology Solutions

About the role

Binyod seeks an experienced Director of Technology Solutions to lead its Technology Solutions Center (TSC) and oversee the technical lifecycle of Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety and Security) solutions. The role ensures solutions are technically accurate, constructible, commercially viable, standardized, documented and supportable.

Key responsibilities

• Manage TSC staffing, workload distribution, weekly production meetings and monthly director reports.
• Establish and maintain S1–S4 technical standards, KitCheck process, technical approval gates and risk assessments.
• Oversee estimating governance, manufacturer technology strategy and weekly commercial/TSC pipeline reviews.
• Define technical handoff standards, provide engineering support during implementation and coordinate weekly TSC/Delivery reviews.
• Serve as final technical escalation point for the Service Desk and support resolution of complex issues.
• Implement continuous‑improvement processes, develop training and certification pathways for the TSC team.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years experience in Division 27/28 or ICT systems integration and at least 5 years leading engineering or pre‑sales teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to coordinate with sales, delivery and service functions.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and CSI Division 27/28 specifications.
• Experience reviewing Bills of Materials, labor requirements and technical solution packages.
• Proficient technical documentation and written communication in English.
• Knowledge of technical quality assurance, solution engineering and implementation requirements.
