About the role
METRO Pakistan, part of the international METRO Cash & Carry group, operates wholesale centres across the country. The company is looking for a Distribution Centre Supervisor for its Sargodha hub to manage and organise deliveries, ensure compliance with SOPs and provide timely, efficient service to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and organise deliveries to customers in the correct quantity and specifications.
- Visit the market twice a week to ensure SOP compliance and gather direct customer feedback.
- Lead hands‑on, timely deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Verify daily fuel costs and related transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor and ensure the productivity of delivery vans.
- Handle and coordinate customer complaints regarding delivery issues.
- Promote METRO own‑brand products and drive their sales.
- Coach and train team members on new concepts, technology and procedures.
- Review and approve operational activities of pickers, loaders and delivery staff.
- Ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
