Educational Counselor

About the role

The Educational Counselor will work full‑time on‑site at UKEC Pakistan’s Lahore office, providing one‑to‑one guidance to prospective students interested in studying in Europe. The role involves advising on suitable courses, universities and pathway programmes, and supporting applicants through the entire application process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct information sessions and respond to student inquiries via phone, email and in‑person.
• Assist students with application preparation, documentation, timelines and pre‑departure briefings.
• Maintain accurate student records in CRM or other tracking systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and European partner institutions to ensure up‑to‑date information.
• Participate in education fairs, workshops and seminars to promote study opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Social Sciences or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong student‑counseling skills and ability to guide applicants through the full admission journey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for interaction with students, families and partners.
• Understanding of European higher‑education systems, admission requirements and study routes.
• Professional, inclusive and student‑centered approach with ethical counseling practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, CRM systems and standard office software.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
