Electronic Technician

About the role

The Electronic Technician will maintain industrial electronic equipment and ensure reliable production operations for Al Hamd Textile’s Karachi facility. Although the position is telecommute, the role requires close coordination with on‑site teams to support equipment uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic equipment and associated control systems to restore functionality.
• Diagnose faults in control boards, sensors, panels, and electronic circuits using appropriate testing tools.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electronic equipment to minimize unexpected failures.
• Support production equipment during breakdowns and other technical issues to reduce downtime.
• Test electronic components and accurately identify defective parts for replacement.
• Maintain basic records of repairs, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to resolve technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven ability in industrial electronics troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Skilled at diagnosing faults in control boards, sensors, panels, and electronic circuits.
• Experience performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic systems.
• Competent in testing components and identifying defective parts efficiently.
• Capable of supporting production equipment during breakdowns and technical challenges.
• Adept at basic maintenance recordkeeping and effective coordination with teams.
