Electronics Maintenance Technician – FMCG Industry

About the role

The Electronics Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic equipment in a fast‑moving consumer goods manufacturing environment. This role works on a rotational evening and night shift, supporting production uptime and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair motors, control panels, drives, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors and related wiring.
• Conduct routine inspections, insulation resistance testing, component testing, cleaning and preventive maintenance according to approved schedules.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Read, interpret and apply electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production and engineering teams to resolve equipment and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, HSE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical/electronics maintenance experience, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage or pharma.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with PLCs.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge of control panels, motors and sensors.
• Proficiency in industrial electrical/electronic systems maintenance.
