Electronics Maintenance Technician – FMCG Industry

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Electronics Maintenance Technician to support its FMCG manufacturing plant in Karachi. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair motors, control panels, drives, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors and related systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, wiring checks, terminal tightening, insulation resistance testing, component testing, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to approved schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production and engineering teams to resolve equipment and operational issues.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage or pharma.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with PLCs, VFDs, control panels, motors and sensors.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance abilities for industrial electrical/electronic systems.
