Engineering Intern – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

This internship supports pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by assisting with the maintenance, calibration, and reliability of production, laboratory, and utility equipment. You will gain hands‑on experience in a GMP‑regulated environment while contributing to process optimisation and equipment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance, servicing, and calibration of production, laboratory and utility equipment.
• Support process optimisation initiatives to improve OEE and overall equipment efficiency.
• Learn and help with equipment validation activities for manufacturing processes.
• Observe and support planned engineering activities according to schedules.
• Follow the engineering quality system, ensuring compliance with GMP, GES standards and safety policies.
• Document work according to Good Documentation Practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (or related discipline) preferred.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical/manufacturing operations and engineering systems.
• Willingness to learn GMP, GES standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline and safety awareness.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams.
