ESMA Analyst

About the role

OctusOctus is seeking an ESMA Analyst to join its Pakistan office. The analyst will support the build‑out of Octus’s financial data offering by gathering and analysing fundamental investment data for public and private companies across Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and interpret financial statements and legal documentation under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Support ESMA Credit‑Level Reporting workflows, extracting data from credit memoranda, offering memoranda, trustee reports and related documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Europe and the US across time zones to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in credit or financial statement analysis within a bank, asset manager, auditor or data provider.
• University degree in Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to manage workload with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with AI‑assisted workflows is a plus.
