Excel Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Excel Analyst on a contract basis to support a global leader in the Information Services industry. The analyst will work with large datasets, transform raw data into actionable insights, and help drive business decisions through clear visualisations.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and organise data from multiple sources into structured Excel reports.
• Perform data cleaning, validation and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Create pivot tables, charts and interactive dashboards to present key metrics.
• Analyse trends and provide insights that support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable results.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Ability to handle large datasets with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.
