Executive Engineer – Project Management

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Engineer – Project Management to join Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Karachi. The role will support planning, execution and commissioning of medium‑ and low‑voltage switchgear projects, ensuring customer requirements are met on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate overall project planning, resource allocation and schedule management.
• Drive execution of sub‑projects, monitoring milestones, budgets and economic results.
• Implement customer‑specific requirements and oversee on‑site commissioning activities.
• Maintain communication with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate issues and ensure timely decisions for project continuity.
• Test protection panels, relays and implement protection schemes on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
• Proven ability to identify and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Strong commitment to project delivery in a competitive market.

Required skills

• Knowledge of medium‑voltage switchgear.
• Knowledge of low‑voltage switchgear.
• Experience with protection panels and relays.
• Understanding of protection and automation schemes.
• Project management capabilities.
