Facilities Carpenter - C&W-Microsoft

About the role

A skilled and experienced carpenter is sought for the Facilities Services team in Pakistan, supporting the C&W-Microsoft department. The role covers high-quality carpentry work to maintain, repair and improve the physical infrastructure of the facilities, with attention to safety standards and teamwork with other maintenance and construction professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape and install wood and other materials for facility maintenance and improvement projects.
• Build, repair and install doors, windows, frames, partitions and other wooden structures according to company specifications and safety regulations.
• Inspect existing structures, identify repair needs and recommend solutions.
• Work with the maintenance team to plan carpentry tasks that minimise disruption to operations.
• Maintain and operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings and work orders accurately.
• Follow health and safety policies, including the use of PPE.
• Keep accurate records of work, materials and time spent on each project.
• Help procure carpentry materials and manage inventory.
• Support junior carpenters or apprentices where needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Carpentry, Woodworking or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience in facilities management or construction.
