Facilities Manager - Logistics Park

About the role

DP World NLC Logistics is looking for a Facilities Manager for its Dedicated Freight Corridor and Multimodal Logistics Park in the Pipri marshalling area, Karachi. The role oversees warehousing and logistics park operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, operational efficiency and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. It covers budget management, inventory oversight, team development and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with railway operations and logistics teams so that facility maintenance does not disrupt freight and rail operations.
• Maintain operational support infrastructure such as access routes, internal roads, drainage, lighting, utility corridors and common service areas.
• Coordinate facility interfaces between railway infrastructure, terminal operations, warehouses, logistics operators and other stakeholders.
• Optimize resource utilization (HR, MHEs, etc.) to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and implement OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the logistics park.
• Oversee inventory reconciliation, turnover and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO).
• Keep receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping processes efficient.
• Enforce QAHSE, quality control and HACCP compliance.
• Lead training and development initiatives for staff.
• Review audit reports with the team, ensure timely closure, CAPA updates and customer SLA compliance.
• Provide billing data to Finance and manage customer audits and sign-offs.

Required profile

• Graduation or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field (preferred).
• At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Preferred: experience managing large-scale industrial facilities, railway infrastructure, logistics parks, warehouses, ports, terminals or commercial/industrial estates.
• Preferred: experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams and third-party contractors.
• Experience in budgeting, procurement, contract administration and statutory compliance.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management, multi-project prioritization, communication and team leadership.
