Faculty Member for Taxation and Financial Reporting

About the role

Roots Academic Network is seeking a qualified and experienced faculty member to teach Taxation and Financial Reporting. The role involves delivering lectures, preparing course materials, and assessing student performance in an international academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update curriculum for taxation and financial reporting courses.
• Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials, both in‑person and online.
• Design and grade assessments, projects, and examinations.
• Stay current with changes in tax law and financial reporting standards.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience at the university or college level.
• Professional experience in taxation and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Understanding of local tax regulations.
• Curriculum design and instructional planning.
• Proficiency with e‑learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
• Assessment design and grading.
