Fashion Designer - Knits

About the role

Bacha Party is hiring a skilled and experienced Fashion Designer for its knits line, based at the regional office in Lahore. The designer turns seasonal trends and brand direction into commercially viable designs and works closely with production and sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercially relevant designs according to seasonal trends and brand direction.
• Prepare complete and accurate garment tech packs for production.
• Manage the full sample approval process, from proto development to final approval.
• Coordinate with Production, Sourcing and other teams so that designs are executed accurately.
• Review samples and give technical and design comments for corrections and improvements.
• Carry out trend and market research and turn trends into commercial designs.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in knits or apparel design.
• Good technical understanding of garments and sampling.
• Ability to make design and technical decisions independently.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of knits fabrics, garment construction, fits, trims and production processes.
• Strong command of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
