Finance Assistant Manager – FP&A & Budgeting

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Finance Assistant Manager to lead FP&A, budgeting, management reporting and business analytics for Riphah International University. The role will drive the annual budgeting process, financial modelling, and dashboard development to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group‑wide annual budgeting process, coordinating with strategic units, HR, Marketing, PMO and Central Finance.
• Develop budgeting assumptions, timelines, templates and guidelines; run cross‑functional budget review meetings.
• Implement approved budgets in SAP S/4HANA, including uploads and validations.
• Prepare monthly Budget‑vs‑Actual reports, variance analysis and assist cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage programme‑wise costing for strategic planning and pricing decisions.
• Create financial models, dashboards and executive management reports.
• Oversee advances and payables portfolio with reconciliations and ageing analysis.
• Drive finance automation initiatives, including AI‑powered solutions and reporting dashboards.
• Produce multi‑year admission, revenue and trend analysis reports.
• Perform additional budgeting, reporting, analytical and process‑improvement assignments as required.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA (Finalist/Inter), ACMA, MBA Finance, or Master’s in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, management reporting or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of IFRS and management reporting standards.
