Finance Executive

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Finance Executive to support accurate and timely financial accounting across its fast‑growing portfolio of lifestyle brands. The role will own the general ledger, drive month‑end close activities, and ensure high‑quality financial reporting while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger, journal entries, account classifications and ensure chart‑of‑accounts integrity.
• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, provisions, pre‑payments, depreciation and required reconciliations.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet and control‑account reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve aged items.
• Produce reporting schedules and accounting inputs, analysing account‑level variances and trends for management reporting.
• Manage treasury functions, bank reconciliations, supplier balances, accruals, pre‑payments and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Process intercompany transactions, confirmations, settlements and eliminations, resolving counterpart differences.
• Support internal and external audits, maintain audit trails, enforce finance policies and proactively flag control gaps.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification or part‑qualification is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, General Ledger, Record‑to‑Report or financial accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close, journal entries and financial reporting.

• ERP systems (experience with any ERP platform).
