Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and integrity of all financial data across the organization. This role leads the monthly close process, supports cross‑functional reporting, and collaborates with the Finance Manager on audits and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Finalize monthly accounts, trial balance and financial statements in line with local statutory laws and IFRS.
• Lead timely closing for all territories, coordinate with Finance Service Center and corporate teams.
• Review balance sheet items, perform bank reconciliations and ensure availability of detailed breakdowns for decision‑making.
• Identify risks and opportunities, manage insurance coverage and negotiate policies.
• Oversee payroll‑related expenses, tax calculations and compliance with local tax regulations.
• Support annual independent audit and other compliance audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Maintain accounting controls, chart of accounts, cost‑center reporting and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Approve purchase orders, employee settlements and sign cheques as delegated authority.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• 4‑6 years of experience in finance, accounting or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory accounting requirements and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to lead month‑end close, manage risk and coordinate audit processes.
• Experience in insurance policy negotiation and claims management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and mentorship skills.
