Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead accounting, tax compliance and treasury functions for our licensed consumer lending entity in Pakistan. The role reports to the Finance Business Partner at headquarters and supports the company’s expansion in the fintech sector.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Reporting: handle the full set of local licensed entity accounting, inter‑company reconciliation, expense verification, fixed assets and balance‑sheet items; complete month‑end and year‑end closing on time; prepare statutory financial statements and support consolidated reporting.
• Tax & Corporate Compliance: manage full‑range local tax compliance, develop tax strategies, identify and mitigate tax risks, lead communications with tax authorities, monitor tax law changes and provide impact analysis to HQ and internal teams.
• Treasury & Cash Management: oversee corporate bank accounts, daily payments, expense reimbursements and petty‑cash control; ensure strong internal controls over treasury operations and cash‑flow management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional qualification such as ACCA or CA preferred.
• Proven experience in full‑set accounting, tax compliance and treasury management within Pakistan, preferably in FinTech or financial services.
• Fluent English, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
