Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will be based in Jhelum and report to senior executives of a growing hospitality group. This role is responsible for financial control, timely reporting, and providing commercial insight to support operations and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, payroll and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and provide financial KPIs for branch and corporate decision‑making.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and banking relationships to optimise liquidity across restaurant operations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Provide management with financial analysis, cost‑control recommendations and profitability insights.
• Coordinate audits and support statutory and management reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Pakistan accounting standards, taxation, VAT and payroll regulations for restaurant businesses.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance and preparation of management accounts.
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling, pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as ERP systems, QuickBooks or Sage.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and cost‑control for multi‑branch hospitality operations.
• Analytical mindset with ability to produce variance analysis and financial KPIs for senior management.
• Experience managing teams, delegating tasks and implementing process improvements.
