Financial Analyst – Compliance & Financial Governance

About the role

EY is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial compliance, governance and audit‑readiness across multiple countries and entities. The role focuses on balance‑sheet reconciliations, statutory and local content audit support, and maintaining structured compliance documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly and quarterly balance‑sheet reconciliations for assigned entities, investigating unreconciled or unusual items and maintaining a tracker of outstanding items.
• Support external statutory audits by preparing audit‑ready schedules, coordinating data collection from cross‑functional teams, and maintaining a centralized audit documentation repository.
• Prepare and collate documentation for local content audits (UAE ICV, Qatar ICV, Saudi local content reporting), gathering procurement spend, supplier data and workforce metrics.
• Maintain standardized compliance folders, enhance documentation templates, and support internal control testing and ad‑hoc financial assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, controls or compliance.
• Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross‑functional, cross‑border teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data organization, validation and analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
