Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee financial reporting for five legal entities from our Karachi office. This hands‑on individual contributor role ensures accurate, timely delivery of statutory and management information, supporting both operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and trial balance across all entities.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Produce operational reports such as department performance, project profitability and product margin analysis.
• Review and approve journals, accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll to ensure data integrity.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement improvements in reporting efficiency and automation.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management and support ad‑hoc CFO projects.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• 5‑8 years of post‑qualification experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong background in financial reporting, general ledger management and month‑end close.
• Proven experience coordinating external audits.
• Experience in a multi‑entity or multinational environment is preferred.
