Financial Systems Accountant

About the role

The Financial Systems Accountant bridges Finance and IT, ensuring that financial data is accurate across all enterprise systems. You will record day‑to‑day transactions, produce reliable management reports, and lead the financial side of system development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial data accuracy across Magento, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, EasyWMS and Power BI.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with Finance and IT teams.
• Act as the finance lead on IT projects, translating business requirements into system solutions.
• Liaise with operational teams to gather requirements and deliver projects on time.
• Provide guidance to the in‑house IT team on finance‑related system transactions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance system accuracy and streamline financial processes.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant.
• Strong technical ability with Excel and IT systems.
• Experience with ERP systems in a functional consultant capacity is preferred.
• Ability to analyse large data volumes.
• High level of attention to detail.
