Freight Procurement Executive

About the role

An experienced Freight Procurement Executive is sought to join the team. The role covers sourcing and negotiating freight rates and supporting the sales team with accurate pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and overseas agents.
• Use existing vendor and industry connections to obtain competitive quotations.
• Analyze market rates, routes and pricing trends.
• Compare vendor quotations and identify cost-effective options.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Support the sales team with competitive and accurate pricing.

Required profile

• Existing network of freight and logistics vendors and agents.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of freight market rates and industry trends.
• Ability to conduct market and rate analysis.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or import/export is preferred.
• Degree or qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is a plus.
• C1 English language certificate.

Required skills

• Exceptional proficiency in Google Sheets.

Working hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, based at Anum Estate, Karachi.
