Frontend Developer - Javascript (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and enhancing high‑performance web applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise frontend components with JavaScript, React and related libraries.
• Design, implement and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express to expose RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks such as React.
• Hands‑on experience building backend APIs with Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with state‑management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
• Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team environment.
