Frontend Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building responsive, high‑performance web interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high‑quality code.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 with experience in responsive design.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with state‑management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Experience with version control (Git) and frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
