Full Stack Engineer (Java/Spring Boot/Apigee Integration Experience)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable digital products for a Saudi‑based data solutions provider. This remote, full‑time contractor position will involve end‑to‑end ownership of features, ensuring architectural integrity, security, and maintainability across both backend and frontend systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot and relational databases.
• Build modern, responsive frontend applications with Angular.
• Apply software design patterns and clean‑code principles for long‑term maintainability.
• Integrate AI development tools into the engineering lifecycle to boost productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and decompose systems.
• Lead code and architectural reviews, enforcing secure coding practices and performance standards.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and service‑based architectures for national‑scale data processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical design and mentor teams.
