Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a strong individual contributor to join our fast‑moving startup team as a Full Stack Engineer. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with product and design teams. You will own end‑to‑end feature development, from backend APIs to responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Django‑based backend services.
• Build and enhance React/Next.js front‑end components.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as Stripe, Stripe Connect, EasyPost, and others.
• Implement GraphQL endpoints using Strawberry GraphQL.
• Manage asynchronous tasks with Celery and Redis, and handle data storage in PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and monitor services on AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Write comprehensive tests and ensure high code quality before release.
• Communicate blockers promptly and collaborate with teammates to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Startup or small‑team experience with a bias toward rapid delivery.
• Strong Django backend expertise and API integration skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Stripe and preferably Stripe Connect.
• Proactive problem‑solver who asks thoughtful questions and anticipates edge cases.
• Self‑starter who takes ownership without needing detailed instructions.
• Detail‑oriented, writes clean, maintainable code, and tests thoroughly.
• Effective communicator who quickly raises blockers.
• Ability to prioritize high‑impact work and move quickly without regressions.
• Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity while maintaining independent reasoning.
