Full Stack Software Engineer (React, Node, PostgreSQL, AI Integration)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain web applications that support healthcare professionals and administrative staff. The role combines modern front‑end development with robust back‑end services and AI‑driven features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Design secure, scalable APIs for EMR/EHR platforms and implement authentication, authorization, and audit trails.
• Create responsive, user‑friendly interfaces for patient records, scheduling, billing, reporting, and dashboards.
• Design, manage, and optimise relational database schemas; write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform query optimisation.
• Integrate AI/ML APIs, large language models, and third‑party AI services to enable automated reporting, intelligent search, predictive insights, and workflow assistance.
• Work with both structured and unstructured healthcare data to support analytics and automation.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across front‑end, back‑end, AI integration, and database layers.
• Write clean, reusable, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and version‑control best practices.
• Support deployment, performance optimisation, bug fixing, and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience building healthcare software such as EMR/EHR, patient management, or medical billing systems.
• Understanding of PHI, HIPAA, and healthcare data‑privacy requirements.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs, large language models, or chatbot services.
• Familiarity with Python for AI/ML, data processing, or automation.
