Gate Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Gate Operations Supervisor ensures the security and smooth flow of people and goods at the company gate. This position oversees visitor registration, gate pass management, and inventory control of machinery parts while leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage gate operations, including visitor identification and registration.
• Record all entries and exits using manual logs and computer systems.
• Issue, track, and manage gate passes for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply‑chain teams for goods receipt and gate pass compliance.
• Maintain inventory of machinery parts using weight scales and update procurement records.
• Utilise ERP software (SAP or Oracle) to manage gate‑related data.
• Resolve operational or security issues promptly and communicate clearly.
• Lead a team of two staff members, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Conduct routine audits of gate activities and inventory.
• Enforce health and safety protocols at the gate area.

Required profile

• Experience supervising gate or security operations.
• Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
• Good communication skills for coordination with internal departments.
