General Counsel – Remote Contract (AI-focused)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned General Counsel to join our client’s AI‑focused team on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will help train next‑generation AI systems by simulating real‑world contract negotiations and providing expert feedback on AI‑generated suggestions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, assessing AI‑generated suggestions for accuracy, risk, and legal soundness.
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and deliver detailed feedback to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and best practices for AI‑driven contract review.
• Maintain deep knowledge of AI‑driven contract review and negotiation processes.
• Provide expert guidance on contract drafting, review, and negotiation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting, especially in technology or AI‑related projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on risk identification.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing AI‑driven contract review and negotiation.
