General Manager Finance

About the role

The client is a one‑stop shop for real‑estate private equity, closing over $1 billion in deals annually. We are seeking a General Manager Finance to lead the finance function, support fundraising, and provide strategic financial guidance while working remotely from Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, including forecasting growth, cash flow, and profitability.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to investors, communicating key insights and performance metrics.
• Support capital‑raising activities by creating pitch decks, conducting due diligence, building financial models, and handling investor Q&A.
• Oversee bookkeeping, financial statements, audits, and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Lead budgeting processes, monitor expenditures, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Maintain healthy cash flow, manage burn rate, and advise on investment opportunities and financial risks.
• Build and manage the internal finance team or coordinate with outsourced finance partners.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in finance leadership, preferably within real‑estate or private‑equity environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
