General Manager – Operations

About the role

Unibro Industries Ltd. is seeking a senior leader to head its plant operations at the SITE‑Karachi location. This full‑time, on‑site position reports directly to senior management and is responsible for driving operational excellence across all textile processing units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall plant operations and administration.
• Oversee processing streams including pretreatment, dyeing, printing, washing, finishing, utilities and effluent treatment.
• Ensure production targets, operational KPIs and delivery timelines are met.
• Monitor quality standards, process efficiencies and resource utilization.
• Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, labor and buyer certification requirements.
• Control operational costs such as chemicals, utilities, maintenance and manpower.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, HR, Store and Purchase departments.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational discipline and risk management initiatives.
• Prepare and present operational and performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale textile processing operations.
• Strong leadership, operational planning and decision‑making abilities.
• Solid understanding of textile processing, compliance standards and plant management.
