General Manager, Schools Programme Management Unit

About the role

The General Manager will lead the Schools Programme Management Unit, translating organisational priorities into governed, measurable programmes across the school network. This senior role oversees programme design, operating models, policies, annual planning, performance visibility and data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the translation of priorities into coherent programme designs, operating models and governance arrangements.
• Oversee development and periodic review of school‑facing policies, SOPs, process flows and the School Manual.
• Lead integrated annual planning for new and existing schools, including network expansion and resource coordination.
• Establish performance‑review, risk‑escalation and corrective‑action routines for school‑facing priorities.
• Define data standards, ownership, quality controls and correction workflows for core school datasets.
• Set direction and governance for high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives and approve project charters, budgets and milestones.
• Lead, coach and develop heads of Operational Design, Process Improvement, Planning, Performance and Data Governance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Public Policy, Operations, Strategy, Data or related field.
• 12‑15 years progressive experience in programme management, operational excellence or data governance.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional programmes across multiple regions or a national network.
• Strong background in policy and process flow development, process improvement and governance frameworks.
