Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Intern – 2-Month Internship

About the role

This 2‑month full‑time internship is based in Karachi with some remote flexibility. As a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Intern you will support the team in assessing risks, drafting compliance documentation, and researching regulatory frameworks. You will gain hands‑on exposure to cybersecurity governance and audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting risk assessments and documenting findings.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Research and summarize relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve internal security protocols.
• Support the implementation of governance policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and documentation for audit and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of information security, risk management, and compliance concepts.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NCA ECC, or PDPL is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
