Grid Manager – Telecom Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Grid Manager will drive sales, revenue and business development across a defined geographic grid, focusing on 3G/4G mobile broadband, handset distribution and channel expansion. You will ensure optimal network utilization, improve customer experience and lead a team of retailers and franchise partners.

Key responsibilities

• Grow 3G/4G and handset sales by launching new smartphone shops and upgrading existing retailers.
• Manage channel expansion activities such as SIM sales, value‑added services, MNP, post‑paid offers and ECAT distribution.
• Oversee end‑to‑end complaint handling, CSI monitoring and quality assurance for franchise partners.
• Coordinate trade marketing, BTL activities, brand visibility and special events within the grid.
• Identify untapped retail locations, plan sales routes and submit accurate forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards and recharge products.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, ensuring product knowledge, SOP compliance and stock availability.
• Maintain POS material at outlets and collaborate with technical teams to maximize network OPEX, site availability and LTE utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in telecom sales, channel management or related business development roles.
• Proven track record of meeting KPIs for revenue, sales volume and network utilization.
