Grid Manager – Telecom Sales & Channel Development

About the role

The Grid Manager will drive sales, revenue and channel growth for 3G/4G and mobile broadband services within a defined geographic grid. You will lead a team of retailers and franchise partners to maximise network utilization and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Increase revenue from 3G, 4G and handset sales by expanding smartphone shop networks and improving retailer performance.
• Ensure timely purchase orders and stock availability across all franchise locations.
• Manage end‑to‑end customer complaint handling, CSI monitoring and quality assurance.
• Coordinate trade marketing activities, brand visibility, BTL promotions and special events in the territory.
• Identify untapped market areas, plan sales routes and submit accurate forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards and recharges.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, ensuring compliance with SOPs, targets and trade promotions.
• Maintain POS material availability and support merchandising at outlets.
• Collaborate with marketing, channel and technical teams to optimise network resources, OPEX and LTE utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• 3–6 years of experience in telecom sales, channel development or related business development roles.
• Proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and expanding distribution networks.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and market planning.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of 3G, 4G and LTE network technologies.
• Experience with mobile broadband services and SIM sales processes.
• Familiarity with trade marketing and BTL promotional activities.
