Group Accountant Path for Group Finance Manager

About the role

Beyond EQT Real Estate Development Ltd is seeking a hands‑on accountant to build and run a practical finance function across a diverse group of entities. Working closely with the founder and external advisers, you will lay the foundations for a future Group Finance Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an obligations calendar for every entity and ensure all filings and deadlines are met.
• Brief, review, and manage external accountants in each jurisdiction, overseeing fees and relationships.
• Establish the accounting system, chart of accounts, and monthly reporting pack.
• Develop and maintain banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
• Own asset disposals and wind‑downs, handling follow‑up, escalation, and closure.
• Grow the finance function by hiring and managing team members as the business expands.

Required profile

• 5–12 years of finance or accounting experience across more than one entity and tax regime.
• Previous experience as the sole finance person or a senior member of a small in‑house finance team (≤6 people).
• Strong commercial judgement and persistence in following up with counterparties.
• Excellent written English.

• Proficiency with AI tools for finance processes.
