Head of Amazon Agency Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Amazon operator to become the founder’s operational right‑hand and lead our delivery department. The role focuses on removing day‑to‑day operational burdens from the founder while enhancing client results, team accountability, and delivery quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership by reviewing PPC strategies, catalog issues, listing content and creatives, challenging weak recommendations and holding specialists accountable.
• Set department and individual KPIs, monitor performance, resolve missed deadlines and ensure tasks meet quality standards.
• Connect client goals to actionable delivery plans, join key client meetings, handle escalations and identify upsell opportunities.
• Balance workloads, identify skill gaps and recommend hiring, training or tools to maintain delivery standards.
• Improve ClickUp workflows, SOPs, reporting and quality checks, and automate 40‑50% of recurring tasks while preserving quality.
• Report weekly to the founder on client performance, employee output, risks, corrective actions and required decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Amazon experience with leadership responsibility in an agency, e‑commerce company or multi‑brand business.
• Current or recent role as Operations Manager, Head of Amazon, Senior Account Director or equivalent, with proven team and multi‑account leadership.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Amazon PPC, catalog operations, creatives, listing content and conversion improvement.
• Working knowledge of product development, sourcing, inventory and supply chain as they relate to account performance.
• Confident English communication, able to lead client calls, defend recommendations and constructively challenge the founder.
