Head of Artificial Intelligence

About the role

AI Case Leads is looking for a senior leader to own the company‑wide AI strategy and execution. You will build a central knowledge system, elevate engineering practices, educate the whole team, and keep the organization ahead of emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch a searchable AI “company brain” that ingests call transcripts, Slack, CRM data, documents and other sources, with automatic updates and strict access controls.
• Define model routing, standards and tooling for developers, audit AI‑generated code, and manage AI spend and rate limits.
• Teach managers, reps and engineers effective prompting, run workshops, office hours and one‑on‑one coaching, and create a shared library of prompts and workflows.
• Track new models and tools, run rapid proofs of concept, and identify processes across the business that can be automated or improved with AI.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with hands‑on work building with large language models.
• Proven ability to prototype quickly, set high technical standards, and teach diverse audiences.
• Self‑directed mindset with a track record of defining and driving an AI roadmap.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience building Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, knowledge bases or AI search over large unstructured data sets.
• Deep knowledge of frontier and open LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini, etc.) and model routing strategies.
• Strong code‑review skills for AI‑generated code, including security and quality checks.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools, agentic workflows, and handling sensitive data securely.
