Head of IT Project Management Office (PMO)

About the role

The Head of IT PMO will serve as the primary business point of contact, capturing demand and coordinating across IT sub‑departments such as software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, operations, and QA. The role drives digitisation of business processes, implements the InsurTech ecosystem, and ensures timely delivery of high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and promote the use of existing and new technologies to boost productivity and build new capabilities.
• Manage cross‑functional business partner relationships on project teams to deliver value‑adding solutions.
• Shape demand into specific projects, prioritize with stakeholders, and allocate resources.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects on the IT and Digital Roadmap, providing regular updates via project dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with IT controls, policies, and procedures, and maintain SAP support with minimal disruption.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Project Management or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Certification in Project Management – PMP or Prince2 (mandatory); Agile certification highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, business analysis and analytical abilities.
