Head of Operations & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Operations & Compliance to build and scale the operational backbone of Pakistan's leading digital wealth management platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own user operations, fund operations, and finance while ensuring compliant growth ahead of Series A fundraising.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily NAV calculations, fund accounting, transaction processing, and unit allocation for multiple products with 100% accuracy.
• Manage fund administration tasks including dividend distributions, corporate actions, and regulatory filings to SECP.
• Design and optimise customer onboarding workflows, digital KYC, and end‑to‑end lifecycle operations.
• Lead customer support, set service level agreements, and build operational dashboards to monitor key metrics.
• Ensure full compliance with SECP, CDC, AML/CFT, and data‑protection regulations; conduct audits and manage regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate with banking partners, trustees, auditors, and custodians, and maintain relationships with legal counsel.
• Build and mentor a team of 5‑8 professionals across operations, compliance, and finance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations, fund accounting, and compliance functions in a financial services or digital wealth management environment.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable processes, manage cross‑functional teams, and drive regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of SECP regulations, CDC requirements, and AML/KYC frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with external partners such as banks, auditors, and custodians.
