Head of Security Operations Center (SOC)

About the role

The Head of SOC will lead easypaisa’s Security Operations Center, protecting digital assets from cyber threats. This senior position oversees monitoring, incident response, and the overall security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic SOC plans aligned with corporate security strategy.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing SOC team.
• Monitor the organization’s cyber security posture and produce actionable reports.
• Manage end‑to‑end incident handling, including discovery, response, and resolution.
• Ensure detection and response capabilities are in place and drive deployment of security tools.
• Provide incident response support, create playbooks, and conduct gap analysis of SIEM.
• Improve threat intelligence by identifying IOCs and coordinating mitigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, incident handling, and SOC management.
• Experience with server, database and application vulnerability scanning and penetration testing is a plus.
