Health Representative – Field Based (Karachi)

About the role

The Health Representative will promote Pfizer’s pharmaceutical portfolio to doctors, hospitals and pharmacies across an assigned territory in Karachi. The role is field‑based, requiring frequent visits to healthcare professionals to present product information and generate prescriptions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional presentations on approved indications of Pfizer products to doctors and other health‑care providers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contact records for doctors and chemists using the VeeVa/PforceRx system.
• Prepare and follow weekly and monthly call plans, targeting A, B and C class customers as defined by KPIs.
• Submit call reports and expense claims through the VeeVa/PforceRx application within scheduled deadlines.
• Monitor competitor activities in the territory and provide feedback for marketing rebuttal strategies.
• Arrange product group meetings to discuss specific products in detail.
• Ensure stock availability of key products at retail outlets to meet prescription demand.
• Forward technical queries from doctors to the Medical Division and keep the Health Rep Manager informed.

Required profile

• Science graduate, preferably with a Pharm D degree.
• 1 to 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment.
• Commitment to ethical promotion practices and professional appearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the VeeVa/PforceRx application for call reporting and record management.
