HND Lecturer – Curriculum Development & Teaching

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking an HND Lecturer to lead curriculum development and teaching for its Higher National Diploma programmes in Islamabad. The role involves designing, delivering and continuously improving courses while supporting student success within a collaborative academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and deliver comprehensive lessons aligned with the HND curriculum and academic standards.
• Design and update curriculum content, applying curriculum mapping to ensure clear learning outcomes and progression.
• Utilise Learning Management Systems to create engaging, accessible educational materials.
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and academic counselling.
• Meet annual teaching targets and workload requirements set by the Head of Department.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning and quality‑assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and grades in line with university policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
