HR Generalist (FJ)

About the role

The HR Generalist will support payroll, workforce planning, budgeting, HR systems and policy administration to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance and effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll cycle, including preparation, validation, reconciliation and timely salary processing.
• Coordinate payroll‑related transactions such as attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, loans, gratuity and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Support annual HR and manpower budgeting, consolidate headcount requirements and prepare cost projections.
• Monitor payroll and workforce costs against budgets, prepare variance reports and recommend cost‑control measures.
• Conduct manpower planning, analyze headcount, vacancies, attrition and productivity trends.
• Assist with compensation benchmarking, salary surveys and remuneration policy development.
• Drive HR digitalisation by reviewing processes, implementing HRIS enhancements and ensuring data integrity.
• Develop, update and communicate HR policies, provide guidance to managers and employees, and support grievance and disciplinary cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 6‑8 years progressive HR experience with payroll, compensation, manpower planning and HR operations.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) preferred.
• Fluent in English and local languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll systems and applicant‑tracking platforms.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting and workforce analytics.
