Human Resource Manager & Deputy Manager HR

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead and support HR functions for a client in Karachi. The role combines senior HR management responsibilities with deputy HR duties, overseeing the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall HR strategy, policy development, workforce planning, recruitment, talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management and statutory compliance (labor laws, EOBI, SESSI, insurance).
• Drive employee engagement, training & development, HR process improvement and automation.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle, coordinate recruitment agencies, handle offers, negotiations and off‑boarding.
• Address employee relations issues, grievances, conflict resolution and counseling.
• Coordinate payroll, compensation, benefits, FNF, EOBI, SESSI and related HR processes.
• Support audits, HR systems/portal management and HR operations.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing HR team.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in HR management and operations.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll & benefits, and HR policies.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and HR documentation.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee matters professionally.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of labor law compliance, EOBI and SESSI regulations.
