Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on HR Manager to oversee all human resource operations in Pakistan. The role involves establishing local HR systems, managing workplace operations, and leading end‑to‑end HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and refine local HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks aligned with company strategy and market practices.
• Oversee day‑to‑day workplace operations, administrative HR matters and maintain a professional office culture.
• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for key local positions and expand recruitment channels.
• Manage local payroll, tax withholdings and statutory benefits such as EOBI, PESSI, Gratuity and Provident Fund.
• Handle onboarding, contracts, off‑boarding, grievances and internal communications.
• Act as liaison between Pakistani teams and HQ, ensuring clear communication and cultural alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with minimum 5 years of full‑spectrum HR management experience in Pakistan.
• Familiarity with Pakistani recruitment channels, payroll processes, statutory benefits and employee relations.
• Strong organizational, conflict‑resolution and administrative management skills.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in Urdu required.
• Prior experience in Chinese‑funded companies or Chinese multinationals in Pakistan is highly preferred.
