IELTS Instructor

About the role

The IELTS Instructor will plan and deliver comprehensive IELTS preparation classes covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules to learners in Lahore. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on improving students’ exam performance through clear lesson plans and targeted strategies. The role also supports learners in achieving their academic and career goals by providing personalized guidance and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging IELTS preparation lessons, including practice tests and exam strategies tailored to each skill area.
• Assess student performance regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of progress.
• Create and update practice materials that reflect the latest IELTS exam format and scoring criteria.
• Participate in curriculum improvement initiatives and collaborate with the administrative team on scheduling and class performance reporting.
• Foster an inclusive, motivating classroom environment and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Required profile

• Strong English language proficiency with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and clear spoken communication.
• Practical knowledge of the IELTS exam format, scoring criteria, and effective test‑taking strategies.
• Experience in teaching or training, preferably in IELTS or other English language exam preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications such as TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA are advantageous.
• Ability to plan lessons, create practice materials, assess student work accurately, and manage classroom dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools such as presentation software.
• Ability to utilise online resources to support teaching and lesson preparation.
• Comfort with using standard office applications for record‑keeping and communication.
