Import & Demand Planning Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Import & Demand Planning Manager to lead our planning function. You will ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities, supporting business growth while optimizing working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, seasonality and promotional plans.
• Translate forecasts into import and replenishment plans, establishing reorder points, safety stock and stock coverage targets.
• Lead the S&OP process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, conduct regular analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers to align ordering schedules and lead times, identifying and mitigating supply risks.
• Prepare inventory, forecasting and supply performance reports for senior management.
• Support new product launches with effective demand and import planning.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and planning best practices.
• Develop and monitor planning KPIs and manage the planning team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7‑10 years of experience in demand, supply or import planning and inventory management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in FMCG, food, retail or trading environments handling imported products.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
